Everett Burns Funeral services for Everett L "Butch" Burns Sr, 61, of Findlay, will be h eld at 11 a.m. Thursday at Kirkpatrick-Behnke Funeral Home, the Rev. Lowe ll Reeder officiating. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery, with milita ry rites by Hancock Veterans Memorial Squad. Visitation will be held from 7-9 p.m. today and from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Wedn esday at the funeral home. Mr. Burns died at 4:40 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 5, 2002, at Henry Ford Hospita l, Detroit. He was born Aug. 28, 1941, in Gibsonburg to Claude B and Eileen E (Weng) B urns. He married Judith A Brown on Dec. 27, 1958, and she survives. Also surviving are two sons, Everett L Jr of Maumee; and David of Findla y; a daughter, Mrs. Tod (Deborah L) Cameron, Findlay; six grandchildren; a nd two sisters, Mrs. Gerald (Barbara) Walp, Moline; and Mrs. Roger (Pat) K oppelman, Green Springs. Mr. Burns was the manager of Central Credit Union, Fostoria. He serv ed in the U.S Army for 21 years until 1979. He was a member of Findlay AMVETS.
