Hi Joan,
I sit here with tears rolling down my cheeks when I think About Uncle Everett and how he buried Joe in his front yard. Once again a story about a true Warner no matter what branch he came from. It would have been an honor to have met him. It is so odd the stories I have heard from different branches of the family. No matter what happens family is always family. I am so proud to be a part of this family. Thank you for sharing this with me. I am truly honored to know this story.
As always I wait to hear more.!!!
Darrell

Darrell, I will send this to Aunt Thelma this week, I have her searching for papers of any kind that she can find. When I go down 1st of June I will get them,,,,,I have some myself and will email them to you....I bought a new scanner today and it isn't working right , but as soon as I get that fixed I have a few things to send you... Sara Station's father was Solomon Station...I have Uncle Everett's obit .....His wife was Josephine "Toosie" Clark...They had no children but adopted Georgia Warner's son " Joe". He was a very handsome you man but drank allot and died from asphyxiation while passed out drunk...Uncle Everett buried him in his front yard when he lived on Old Nest Egg Rd..my Aunt Thelma still live across from the house..my father lived adjoining them...It was like going to Warner corner....My Uncle Everett was a neat man, most compassionate and kind person..I think I told you he was wounded in WW!1 lost a leg and eye, this always amazed me as a child when he would turn his leg around...He and my father were the funniest people I have ever had the pleasure of knowing...I will read this closely and see if I can find anything else that I can help you with. Thank you for sending it and I do plan to see you in July. Your favorite cousin Joan
