    Mrs. Evelyn M. Nothstein, 74, of 101 First St., Lehighton, died in Monday Gnaden Huetten Convalescent Home, Lehighton. She was the widow of John A. Nothstein.
    She was a sewing machine operator for the former Williams Co. in the Lehighton area until retiring in 1975.
    Born in Weissport, she was a daughter of the late Durell R. and Ida R. (Schnell) Wentz.
    Surviving are a sister, Mrs. Betty A. Szapacs of Palmerton, and a grandson. She was predeceased by a daughter, Fay E. Keiser.
