Evelyn Barringer

Fostoria -- Funeral services for Evelyn A Barringer, 88, a resident of Ind ependence House, Fostoria, will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at Harrold-Flori ana Funeral Home, Fostoria, the Rev. Jim Michaels officiating. Burial wi ll be in Weaver Cemetery, Bloom Twp Wood CO.

Visitation will be held an hour before services Monday at the funeral hom e.

Mrs. Barringer died at 8:10 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 5, 2002 at her residenc

She was born Feb. 16, 1914 in Bettsville to Ross W and Gertrude (Betts) Fe asel. She married Dale E Barringer on June 29, 1935, and he died Oct. 2 5, 1982.

Surviving are several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by four sisters, Irene Feasel, Vivian Cronin, Mi ldred Sotan and Bernice Ritzman.

Mrs. Barringer retired in 1974 as an inspector at Bendix (now Honeywell) a fter 28 years.

She graduated from Bettsville High School.

She was a member of Union United Church of Christ, Bascom; AARP; Daughte rs of the American Revolution; and was a former member of American Legi on Post 73 Ladies Auxiliary, Fostoria.

Memorials may be made to the church or a charity of the donor's choice.
