Darling---In San Rafael, December 21, 1983, Evelyn E. Darling, wife of the late Kenneth Darling; mother of Donald Darlin, Mrs. Wilda Lambretti, Mrs. Diane Thiltgen, and Mrs. Joyce Eichorst; grandmother of 7 grandchildren; great grandmother of 15, and great-great grandmother of three. A native of California, age 90.

  Private family services were held at Keaton's Mortuary, San Rafael.  Interment Mont Tamalpais Cemetery.  Memorial contributions preferred to your favorite charity.

Column 2 Evelyn E. Darling, a restrauteur and long-time San Anselmo resident, died Wednesday at Rafael Convalescent Hospital in San Rael.

  She was 91.
  Mrs. Darling operated the Dash Inn restaurant in San Anselmo in the late 1930' and also owned restaurants in Richmond and east Oakland.
  She worked at the San Rafael High School cafeteria for a time and then worked for Red Robin Caterers for 33 years.
  Mrs. Darling was born in Hanford Kings County on December 25, 1892, and moved to San Anselmo in 1924.
  She is survived by a son, Donald Darling of San Rafael; three daughters, Wilda Lambretti of San Rafael, Diane Thiltgen of San Diego and Joyce Eichorst of the East Bay; seven grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren and three great-great- grandchildren.
  At her request, no services are planned.  Burial will be at Mount Tamalpais Cemetery in San Rafael.
  The family prefers memorial contributions to the Heart Fund Memorial, 1363 Lincoln Ave., San Rafael.
