Eva Toland Pearson Arent, 90, of Canton Township, died Wednesday, November 3, 2004, in Washington Hospital, following a brief illness.
She was born August 17, 1914, in Washington, a daughter of Harry and Zelda Crumrine Toland.
Mrs. Arent was Baptist and a homemaker.
She enjoyed bingo and reading.
Mrs. Arent was twice married. Her first husband, John Pearson, died in 1971.
On August 5, 1972, she married Bernard N. "Bo" Arent, who survives.
Also, surviving are three sons, Paul Pearson of San Antonio, Texas, and James and David Pearson, both of Washington; four daughters, Mona Lou Ringer, Shirley Amos, and Marjorie McKay, all of Washington, and Kathleen Sauritch of Charleroi; a stepson, Ralph Arent, and a stepdaughter, Loretta Thomas, both of Washington; 25 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, stepgrandchildren and step-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Deceased are a daughter, Dolores Ward; two sons, Robert and Bill Pearson; a sister, Irene Elizabeth Miller; two brothers, Paul Ross Toland and infant Johnny Toland; a great-grandson; and a great-great-grandson.
Friends will be received from 2 to 9 p.m. Friday in Hummell and Barnhill Memorial Chapel, 350 West Chestnut Street, Washington, where a service will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, November 6.
Burial will follow in Washington Cemetery.
