OBITUARY

Mrs. W. R. Lyman Dies in Northampton Formere Southampton Resident Leaves Four Sisters and Two Brothers

NORTHAMPTON, Dec. 12, 1932 - Mrs. Eva (Granger) Lyman, wife of Wilfred R. Lyman of Clark Avenue, died in Cooley Dickinson Hospital, this morning, after a short illness. Mrs. Lyman was born in Southampton, June 17, 1885, the daughter of Charles S. and Emeline B. Granger of that town. She was well known in Westfield, being a graduate of Westfield High School and a resident for several years in Russelville.

She leaves her husband; four sisters, Mrs. Laura Peck of Cincinnati, O., Mrs. Mabel Smith of Worthington, Mrs. Effie Lyman of Norwich Hill, and Mrs. Lelia Thompson of Chicopee; two brothers, Wallace Granger of Southampton, and Charles Granger of Westfield, and several nephews and nieces. Mrs. Lyman was a member of the Edwards Congregational Church , the Northampton Grange and the Daughters of Union Veterans.

Funeral services will be conducted in Edwards Church, Northampton, Wednesday afternoon at 2 o’clock.
