    Children of Nicholas Watts and Eunice Newton: Eunice, b. 6 Dec 1778, m. (int.) 14 Dec 1793 [p. 252: 9 Jan 1794] Apollos Smith, m. (2) 1 Dec 1803 Benjamin Conant.

  2.   Note: Initial searching has failed to turn up the birth record or death record for Eunice. On top of this, the marriage to Benjamin Conant is for Eunice Watts, not Eunice Smith. Death record of Nicholas and his wife Eunice, Benjamin's first wife Mercy, and information about Apollos Smith has yet to be located. Eunice would have only been 16 at the time of the marriage to Apollos Smith. So there are a lot of details that raise doubts and cannot be confirmed. Allred's basis for this scenario is unknown. Allred has made simplistic errors in identifying the son Daniel of this family, raising questions about her reliability.
  3. Possibly this death date is meant to be the Eunice, wife of Benj. Conant who d. 16 Oct 1856, aged almost 78 (b. about 1778) in Parma, MI? See here.
