SNOW CAMP — Mrs.. Eula Mae Sharpe Graves, 80, of 6460 Beale Road, died Saturday, Oct. 15, 2005, at her residence.

She was a native of Alamance County and was the daughter of June L. Sharpe and Mary Crawford Sharpe, both deceased. She was the wife of the late Mr. Hazel Jacob Graves. She was a retired employee of Twin Lakes Retirement Center and a member of Friendship United Methodist Church.

She is survived by a daughter, Mrs.. Ruthie Graves Woodruff and her husband James Foy Woodruff, of Burlington; a sister, Mrs.. Gertrude Sharpe McPherson of Burlington; and her grandchildren, Karen Malone and her husband Gary of Snow Camp; Kevin Coble and his wife Kathy of Snow Camp; Sonia Scott of Graham; Sylvia Hinshaw and her husband James of Burlington; and Kathy Hill of Burlington; 8 great grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Jeanette Sue Graves and a brother, James Isaac Sharpe.

The funeral will be held at 3 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 18, 2005, at the Friendship United Methodist Church and will be conducted by the Rev. Jack Page Jr.., pastor, and the Rev. William Boykin. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the Rich and Thompson Mortuary in Burlington from 6 to 8 p.m. today. At other times they will be at the residence of the daughter, Ruthie Woodruff, 6033 N.C. 49 South, Burlington.
