West Ossipee NH - Eugene Gauthier, 63, of this town, and formerly of Springfield, Mass., and Ware, Mass., died on June 27 at home. He was a self-employed carpenter all his life. Born in Springfield, he graduated from the former Springfield Trade High School. He lived in Ware before moving north in 1978. He leaves his wife, the former Millicent Burgess; a son, James of Effingham; two daughters, Donna Burbank of Moultonboro and Pamela Lord of East Conway; his mother, Irene (Lamoureux) Gauthier of Northampton, Mass.; two sisters, Susan Childs of Northampton and Carole Gauthier of Belchertown, Mass.; five grandchildren; and a great-grandchild. The funeral was on Monday in Center Ossipee, and Childs Funeral Home of Williamsburg, Mass., was in charge.
