Per Sam Mayerle, Jr. Ethyl, my mother, was very sickly the 1st 3 or 4 years of mylife. She had had rheumatic fever as a child, it was thought tohave been malaria at that time. She had a hysterectomy rightafter I was born, developed ether pneumonia from that, had TBand spent time in a sanatorium, and suffered from scoliosisresulting in her needing a back brace up until I was 8 or 9.After that she wore a corset. To make a long story short sheoutlived 4 husbands. Three died natural deaths. She was buried in Ocola, Florida per her wishes. She wanted tobe buried next to her last husband, Albert Dollt.
