Ethel I. Holt

Whitsett - Mrs.. Ethel Ingle Holt, 92, of 6611 Burlington Road died Tuesday morning at Cone Hospital. A native of Alamance County, she was the wife of the late Charles Gilmer Holt, and daughter of Dan M. Ingle and Ella Shepherd Ingle. She was retired from Kayser-Roth Hosiery Co and she was a member of Springwood Presbyterian Church. Surviving are son, C. G. Holt Jr.. of Burlington; daughters, Mrs.. Ralph (Vera) Somers of Elon College, Mrs.. Doyle (Harue) Overman of Whitsett, Mrs.. J. L. (Ella) Apple of Raleigh, Mrs. Thelma Lowe of Gibsonville;one brother, Vance Ingle of Whitsett; sisters, Mrs. Dan Moser of Whitsett, Mrs. Sam Anderson of McLeansville, Mrs.. Sam Isley, and Mrs. Frank Shepherd, both of Gibsonville; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. The funeral will be held at 3 o'clock today at Springwood Presbyterian Church by Dr. Rollin M. Steele. Entombment will be at Alamance Memorial Park, Burlington, Alamance County, North Carolina. Barlett Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Memorial may be made to Springwood Presbyterian Church.
