From The Indianapolis Star Stevens, Ethel M. October 7, 2010 Ethel M. Stevens 91, of Roscoe, IL, formerly of Brownsburg, died September 22, 2010. Born November 19, 1918 in New Richmond, IN to Luther and Iona (Jackson) Dooley. Married Paul F. Stevens February 2, 1941. He died in 1988. She is survived by son, Phillip Stevens, Rockford, IL; daughter, Linda (Jay) Maddox, Rockton, IL; sister, Phyllis Meharry, Brownsburg, IN; granddaughters, Gena (Joe) Angelino, Schaumburg, IL; Jill (Corey) Urso, Stoughton, WI; Bridget (Steve) Kirr, Westland, MI; and great-grandchildren. Predeceased by husband, Paul; brothers, Richard and Hugh Edward Dooley; and sister, Virginia McIntosh. A Memorial Service will be held at 10 a.m., Saturday, October 9 at the Clermont Christian Church, 9204 Crawfordsville Road, Clermont, IN. Burial will take place in Oakland Cemetery, Elmdale, IN. Memorial contributions may be made to the Clermont Christian Church. Arrangements by Olson Funeral & Cremation Services , Ltd., Rockford, IL.
