Big Bend Empire 25 Dec 1919 A. E. Ferris, well knwon in Waterville and now living in Wenatchee, was in the city last Saturday. The two mounted deer which have been used by the Waterville Hardware Co. in decorating one of their windows, were killed by Mr. Ferris some four years ago in the upper Methow country and were mounted by a Seattle taxidermist. He is of the opinion that deer are becoming more plentiful owing to the restrictions that have been made for their protection.
