PROSPERITY – Esther Mae Higuera, 85, of Prosperity, South Carolina, widow of William Leslie Higuera, died March 7, 2019 after an extended illness at Heritage at Lowman Nursing Home in Chapin, South Carolina.
Born on March 14, 1933 in Ft. Smith, Arkansas, she was the daughter of Ernest and Marie Stockton.
Mrs Higuera is survived by a daughter, Barbara Jane Silman and son-in-law, Harold Brent Silman of Prosperity, South Carolina; a son, Robert DeWayne Cope and daughter-in-law, Elaine Cope of Ocklawaha, Florida; a daughter, Brenda Lee Hettiger and son-in-law, Joe Hettiger of Lawton, Oklahoma; a daughter, Sharon Burnetta Graham and son-in-law, Steven Graham of North Augusta, South Carolina and a son, Alan Rae Lauthner and daughter-in-law, Sherrie Lauthner of Modesto, California. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by two daughters, Elena Marie Hull and Ruthie Ann Lauthner.
