Henry Sanders, NEHGR 127:252 Savery/Severy Fam. A.W. Savary Savery Fam. of America, NEHGR 41:382 FATH: may be Henry Saunders/Saunderson Henry Sanders of Sandwich, Mass., by the late Lydia B. (Phinney) Brownson and Maclean W. McLean, NEHGR Vol 127, pg252: vi. ESTHER, b. ca. 1682; mar. in Sandwich 14 Dec 17056, Thomas Savory "of Rochester" (MD, 30:102). The marriage is also recorded in the Rochester Vital Records where the bride is called Esther Sanderson of Sandwich. For the births of the seven children of this couple see MD, 13:170, A. W. Savary, in "The Savery Families of America," THE REGISTER, 41:382, notes of Esther Sanders: "supposed to have been daughter of Henry Saunders, of Sandwich. There is one other point which may be of special interest to descendants of Esther (Sanders) Savory. We believe her to have been the youngest daughter, to whom an additional amount, three pounds, was to be paid. This suggests the possibility that she may have been a child by a second wife, andthus, perhaps also legal heir to a portion of her mother's inheritance. Seealso A. W. Savary, A genealogical and Biographical Record of the Savery Families, 1893, p. 29. References
