Death Notice

Lowell Sun, 11 Aug 1932, p. 31:

"Borst-Mrs. Esther (Ringwood) Borst, a lifelong resident of this city, died yesterday afternoon at St. John's hospital after a long illness. She is survived by her husband, Herman Borst; one daughter, Esther; two sons, Robert and Leslie; her mother, Mrs. Jane Ringwood; two brothers, Gilbert and Geoffrey Ringwood, and three sisters, Mrs. Arthur Broderick, Mrs. Alice Brandon and Rev. Sister Anna of Columbus, O. The body was removed to the Funeral home, 260 High street by Funeral Directors Mahoney Bros."

Funeral

Lowell Sun, 13 Aug 1932, p. 25:

"Borst-The funeral of Mrs. Esther (Ringwood) Borst wife of Herman Borst took place this morning at 9 o'clock from the home of her brother Geoffrey Ringwood 97 Andover street and was largely attended by relatives and friends. The cortege proceeded to St. Peter's church where at 10 o'clock a funeral high mass was celebrated by Rev. Daniel C DeCourcey. The choir under the direction of Mr. Raymond J Kelly sang Terry's requiem mass. At the offertory Mr. James E Donnelly sang Domini Jesus Christi. Solos in the mass were sustained by Miss Mary A Rynne. Mr. Raymond J Kelly presided at the organ. Present were several of the sisters from St. Peter's convent. As the body was borne from the church the choir
