    [Note: the original article, p. 56:373, pairs Esther with Thomas Bacon Jr., which seems ludicrous, he being only 18 in 1711, and she being 41. As far as is apparent, this correction isn't intended to correct that error, but it does seems to reinforce that Esther must have married the father, Thomas Sr., whose first wife died in early 1711 (p. 56:369). Wrentham VRs would also suggest he married Mary Fisher in 1746, as her death record says she was 75 in 1749, but the article is silent on that as well, casting some doubt on its authority.]
