Esther H. Bleyenburg was born to Dick and Cora (Tuininga) Bleyenburg on October 27, 1945 in Luverne, Minnesota. She grew up in the Edgerton area and attended the Free Christian School. In December 1972, Esther moved into Edgerton with her parents. Over the years she attended Hope Day Activity Center in Ruthton, Minnesota and was employed at the Edgerton Creamery, Fey Industries and VanderStoep Furniture. In August 2006, Esther moved into Edgebrook Estates Assisted Living. She volunteered her time working at the Care Center.

Esther was baptized, made confession of faith and was a faithful member of the Protestant Reformed Church. She loved to read, fix puzzles, knit, listen to her CD’s and eat out with friends.

Esther passed away peacefully at her residence in Edgebrook Estates Assisted Living on Saturday, July 27, 2013 at the age of 67 years and 9 months.

She is lovingly remembered by her 6 brothers and 2 sisters, Art (Rose) Bleyenburg of Edgerton, Arlene (Ed) Hulstein of Edgerton, Henry (Judy) Bleyenburg of South Holland, Illinois, Bernard (Peggy) Bleyenburg of Chino, California, Larry (Lila) Bleyenburg of Edgerton, Claris (Colleen) Bleyenburg of Dade City, Florida, Janice (Jim) Lanting of Dyer, Indiana and Dennis (Audrey) Bleyenburg of Edgerton; and 38 nephews and nieces. She was preceded in death by her parents, Dick and Cora Bleyenburg; and 2 sisters, Gladys Mae and Gladys Gertrude.
