ESTELLA D RIZER - ECKHART - Estella D. Rizer, 74, of Washington Hollow Road, Eckhart, went to be with her Lord at her home on Friday, May 10, 2002. Born April 19, 1928, in Eckhart, she was the daughter of the late Carl F. and Bessie (Masat) Dieck. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Harold E. Rizer; two sisters, Wanda Brown and Gertrude Dieck; and one brother, Carl F. Dieck. Mrs. Rizer was employed by the Berkowitz Shirt Factory and retired from Western Electric Co., Baltimore. She was a member of Zion United Church of Christ. Surviving are her companion of 22 years, John Rizer, Eckhart; two sisters, Emma Sayre, a resident of Frostburg Village Nursing Home, and Margaret Bone, Frostburg; five nieces and nephews; seven great-nieces and nephews; and two special great-great-nephews, Brandon Minnick and Evan Payton; and great-great-niece, Cheyenne Payton. Funeral services will be conducted at the funeral home on Monday at 10:30 a.m. with Pastor Diane Smith officiating. Interment will be in Sunset Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Brett Payton, Edman Llewellyn, John Bone, James Bone, John A. Rizer Jr., and John Coleman. Honorary pallbearers will be Brandon Minnick and Evan Payton.
