Mrs. Essie Thelma Nelson Croxton, 76 of Route 3. died 1:15 a.m. today in Regional Medical Center.
She was born in Alabama, Feb 9, 1907, the daughter of the late Robert Nelson and Leddie McCullum.
She was a member of the Hall Street Apostolic Church, and preceded in death by her husband, Edward Croxton, 1975.
Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law Mary Fonda and Frankie Frashure, Route 3, Madisonville; one sister Mrs Iva Lee Brown, Alabama; three brothers Edward Nelson, McKinley Nelson, and Wade Nelson, all of Alabama; one granddaughter, Shannon Lynn Kirkwood, Route 3, Madisonville.
Services will be held 1p.m. Wednesday at Harris Funeral Chapel,,with Rev. J. Campbell, Rev. Ronnie Hendricks, and Rev. Herb Campbell, officiating. Burial will be in Bethlehem Cemetery.
Friends may call from 5 to 9 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday untill the funeral hour.
