IN LOVING MEMORY OF ERMA JEAN HILL Erma Jean Hill, youngest child of Harvey E. and Edith (Hawkins) Bastin, was born August 23, 1929, on the family farm near Menlo, Kansas. She was reared with four brothers on farms in the Menlo-Rexford area and attended schools in both communities. On February 16, 1954, Jean was united in marriage to Harold A. Hill in Oberlin, where they made their home all of their married life. A son and daughter were born to their union, and they were also blessed with a granddaughter. Jean was a homemaker and a member of the United Church of Oberlin. She and Harold enjoyed spending time at the lake and doing craftwork.
