Eric Farnsworth Jewett, 26, of North Yonge Road and formerly of Standish, Maine, died March 18, 2000, of injuries after being hit by a car in Ormond.

He was born in Portland, Maine, a son of Wilbert S. and Judith Rae Wardwell Jewett, and was a 1995 graduate of Windham High School. Mr. Jewett worked in Maine and Florida restaurants, and was currently a carpenter for W.W. Truss Co. in Ormond.

He attended Church in the Park in Ormond Beach.

His pastimes included snowmobiling, ice fishing, and being outdoors.

Surviving are his parents of Standish; his grandmother, Audrey Wardwell of Windham; and seven cousins. A graveside service will be held in Harding Cemetery, Standish, in the spring. Arrangements are by Dolby Funeral Chapel, Windham. -Portland Press Herald 20 March 2000
