    [124] 29a. Sarah married (being his second wife) Ephraim Ricker, of Dover, N.H., or Berwick, Me., who was born 15 February 1696, whose first wife was Dorcas Garland. He was son of George Ricker, who came from England, and settled in Dover. (See "Ricker" note below.) Ephraim Ricker lived under "Otis's hill," on the west side, and died December 1773. His widow, Sarah, died December 1788.

    Ephraim Ricker was son of George and Eleanor (Evans) Ricker, as see below in this note. His first wife, whom he married 1 September 1720, was Dorcas (born 3 April 1698), daughter of Jabez and Dorcas Garland, and sister to Hannah Garland (who married Ephraim's brother John Ricker) and to Elizabeth Garland (who married Joseph, son of Maturin Ricker). (Jabez Garland was shot dead by Indians in 1710 as he was returning from church on horseback.)
