Marriage 1792 West Newbury, MAto Polly Brown
Death? 5 Dec 1835 Rowley, Essex, Massachusetts, United States

Of the elder (Enoch) comb maker's four children, Ephraim appears to have been most closely associated with the business as it approached its heyday in West Newbury. It was Ephraim Noyes' two sons, however, who made the greatest strides in the mechanization of the American comb industry and who were integral in founding two of the firms which bore the Noyes name into this century (1800's). They were David Emery Noyes (1795-1861) and William Noyes (1817-1885).
