    "… Epenetus, son of Epenetus and Phebe (Wood) Platt, born 4 April, 1674, in Huntington, whither his father removed from Milford, Ct.; died 1744-5; his will, dated in Huntington, 27 Jan'y, 1741/2, probated 31 Aug., 1745, names wife Elizabeth, and mentions a son Zophar, among others, who was born in 1705, … He was a major of the train-band, and a member of the Assembly 1723-37."
