1790 - birth of Elizabeth Emmit in North Carolina or Kentucky – father, Richard Emmitt

First wife died before 1792. 1 child – Eli, born Nov. 15, 1790 in Botetourt Co, VA and died 1860 in Greene Co, TN.

Sarah Williams was 2nd wife (married Sept. 23, 1793 in Botetourt Co, VA. . They had dau Hannah)

1800 - He was named on 1800 list for Botetourt, Co. Va as a male over 21 Settled in Tenn soon after. listed as Enos Rambough on 1805 tax list for Green Co. Tn.

By 1808 owned land on Simpson Creek in Wayne Co. KY, on tax lists for 1809-1814.

1812 -Wayne Co, KY Tax list - Enos Rambow, same info, but 5 horses. Also, Eli Rambow, no land listed, 1 male above 21 (Enos’ son by 1st wife? Eventually moved to Green Co. where he died in 1860.) Wayne Co. Ky tax list of 1812 shows; Enos, John, Ely, Michael, and Elisha Rambo. – I don’t agree. I only see Enos and Eli.
