 I believe Enos was married at least 4 times: first to Lucinda [unknown surname], ~1830-abt 1885, probably about 1857 in Kentucky or Indiana; to Amanda (Harris) Shankland about 1885; to Margery [unknown] about 1907; and finally to Sarah Trout in 1915, who may have survived him.
 In the 1850 census for Lewis Co., Kentucky, Charles Gill is 49, farmer; with [second wife] Elizabeth [nee Wilson] 40; [by first wife] James 20; Enos W. 18; Augustine 17; [by second wife]  Elenor D. 15; William 13; Martha 10; Abner 9; Rebecca A. 7; George W. 5; Cynthia Ann 4; and Silas V. 2 -- all born KY.
 In the 1860 census for Brown, Hendricks Co., Indiana, Enos Gill is 28, farmer from KY; with Lucinda 30 KY; Charles 3 IN; and William 9 mos. IN. I believe his brothers James 30 and William 23 are living in Marion Co., Indiana with their wives.
