1965 -Death of Enos Bennett (Obituary – Franklin Evening Star) June. 3 After an illness of some time, Enos Bennett, of Franklin, died in Janie's Nursing Home Thursday morning at 10 o'clock. The body has been sent from the Flinn and Maguire Funeral Home to the Bernard Funeral Home at Russell Springs, Ky., for services. Burial will be in the Clear Spring cemetery there. Mr. Bennet was born Sept. 14, 1883 in Russell county, Ky., and his parents were the late Henry J. and Elizabeth Umbo Bennett. He was a member of a Baptist church in Kentucky. Those who survive are three daughters and three sons, Mrs. Vesper Smith, of Whiteland; Arthur Bennett, of Augusta, Ga.; Albert Bennett, of McLean, Va.; Mrs. Vivian Morris, of Bensonville, Ill.; Charles Bennett, of Seattle, Wash.; and Fay Bennett, of Franklin.
