Children of David Batcheller [#60] and Thankful Perham [see attach note]: Deacon Enoch Batcheler[#136],b 14 Nov 1755, d. 29 Aug 1846, m. 4 Jun 1778 Jemima Fiske. Will dated 2 Apr 1828, filed 1846, names wife Jemima, daughters Huldy Trumbull, Jemima Clapp and Susan Batcheller; sons Adams, Enoch Jr., and Levi; son David; Daughters Sally Packard and Polly Forbush.
[Note: Pierce does not make it clear who Enoch's mother is and no birth record has been found. He shows the father with two wives: 1) Thankful Perham, 2) Sarah Tilton, but does not give the date of marriage, nor has it been found. Further research is needed, but a deed in 1758 (Worcester 46:236) includes the signature of Thankful so she clearly was David's wife when Enoch was born.]
