Obituary

VENEDOCIA - Emmett Maurice Jones, 68, of here, died at 1:10 p.m. Saturday in Lima Memorial Hospital.

Born Feb. 16, 1906 in Van Wert County, he was the son of William W. and Gertrude Jones. He was married July 5, 1939, to Ruby Reynolds, who survives.

Also surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Richard (Janice) [Hunziker] of Cleveland Heights and Mrs. Lynn (Connie) Foster of Wappingers Falls, N.Y.; a brother, Raymond K. Jones of Phoenix, Ariz.; and two grandchildren.

Mr. Jones was a member of Salem United Presbyterian Church and was retired from the Erie-Lackawanna Railroad. He also was a member of the town council and was a church trustee.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the church, Rev. Von Giessler officiating, with burial in Venedocia Cemetery.

Friends my call at the Harter and Son Funeral Home, Delphos, from 4 to 9 p.m. Monday, and until one hour before services when the body will be taken to the church.

The family requests memorials to be made to the American Cancer Society.
