EMMA RUTH SHORT

 Mrs. Emma Ruth Short, wife of Faye Evans Short of Route 1, Salisbury, died at

her home at about 8:30 p.m. on Friday, March 21st of chronic myocarditis. Mrs. Short has been in poor health for about 6 years, with frequent periods in recent years in which she was bedfast. Her periods of illness became increasingly frequent and her periods of good health increasingly shorter until she finally passed away.

 Mrs. Short was born near Pocahontas in Greenville Township on October 2, 1900,

a daughter of Charles L. and Clara (Hoffmyer) Yutzy, and was 46 years, 5 months and 19 days in age at her death. She has been a member of St. John's Reformed Church for the past 15 years during her residence in West Salisbury, and of the Reformed Church all her life.
