Emma Bracovich Albert, 89, of New Alexandria, passed away Sunday, April 12, 2009, in Crest Personal Care Home, New Alexandria. Born Dec. 21, 1919, in Logans Ferry, she was a daughter of the late Clarence and Jennie Loughner. She was a housewife. She was of the Greek Orthodox faith. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her two husbands, Joseph Bracovich and James Albert; and a sister, Nora Dayok. She is survived by her two sons, Ronald Bracovich and wife, Peggy, of St. Petersburg, Fla., and Joseph Bracovich and wife, Barb, of New Alexandria; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and a sister, Loretta Gatalsky, of Cheswick. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the P. DAVID NEWHOUSE FUNERAL HOME, corner of Church and Washington streets, New Alexandria. Services will be conducted at 8 p.m. Tuesday in the funeral home by the Rev. Terry J. Carnahan, pastor of Community United Presbyterian Church. Interment will be private, at the request of the family.
