Friday, 9 Aug 1940, Section 1, page 5EMMA M. SCHWAGERMrs. Emma M. Schwager (nee Hauck) died Friday at her late residence, the home of Mrs. Marguerite Reifinger, at Sumneytown, aged 67 years, 10 months and 27 days. She was employed at the Sumneytown Clothing Manufacturing Company plant. She was born in Frederick township, the daughter of William and Mary (Erb) Hauck. She was a member of Frieden's Lutheran church at Sumneytown. The following daughters survive: Mrs. Hannah Brey, Sumneytown; Mrs. Annie Walter, Green Lane, R. D.; Mrs. Mary Hauck, Salford; and two sisters: Miss Alice Hauck, of Mertztown, and Mrs. Florence Oswald of Allentown. Four step-brothers and four step-sisters also survive, as do nine grandchildren. Funeral services, in the charge of Rev. E. L. Angstadt, were held Monday in Frieden's church, Sumneytown. Interment was made in the adjoining cemetery. Funderal Director T. H. Benner, Red Hill, was in charge of arrangements.
