Emma Cullison-Griffin Fostoria -- Emma Josephine "Josie" Cullison-Griffin, 90, a resident of Ind ependence House, Fostoria, and formerly of Risingsun, died at 12:30 p.m. F riday, Dec. 6, 2002 at her residence. She was born Nov. 29, 1912 in Bradner to Pierre Edmonds and Lola (Mansfiel d) Edmonds-Youngs. She married Thomas S Cullison in 1927, and he died Fe b. 23, 1976. She later married Cecil D Griffin on June 16, 1979 in Risings un, and he died May 2, 1991. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Marion (Virginia) Schreiner, Tiffin; a so n, Donald Cullison, Risingsun; a stepson, Donald Griffin, New Concord, Ky .; 14 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; and several great-great-grand children. She was preceded in death by three sons, Thomas V and infants Sylvester a nd Robert Cullison; a daughter, Evelyn Jean Cullison; a grandchild; and t wo brothers, Dale and Wilbur Edmonds. Mrs. Cullison-Griffin was a homemaker; had worked in sales at the former C ousin & Fern Hardware in Fostoria; and was a waitress at Rock Inn, Risings un, and Little Dandy Restaurant in Fostoria. She was a member of Victory Evangelical Church, Risingsun. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Mann-Hare Funeral H ome, Fostoria. Burial will be in Bradner CemeteryWood CO. Visitation will be held from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Monday at the funeral hom Memorials may be made to a charity of the donor's choice. |
