    Mrs. Emily HOLMES, 79, died Thursday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Milo GEORGE, near Dover. She came to Dover township with her husband in 1880 from England. Her husband died in 1918.

    She is survived by seven children, Mrs. Charlotte BEST of Eskridge, Mrs. Edna ATWOOD of Auburn, Mrs. Edith BEST of Topeka, Mrs. Annie GEORGE of Dover, C.C. HOLMES of Mutual, Okla.; J.Bernard HOLMES of Topeka, and Clyde HOLMES of Dover; 36 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be at the church in Dover.
    Burial will be in Dover cemetery
