    Mrs. Charlotte M. Best, 72, of Eskridge, died Tuesday in a Topeka hospital. She was born May 4, 1881, in Dover and had made her home in the Eskridge community 18 years.

    She is survived by her husband, Thomas Best, of the home; two daughters, Mrs. Ethel Watson and Mrs. lois sAuer, both of Vancouver, Wash.; six sons, Charles and Russell Best, Hood River, Ore.; Herman Best, Eugene, Ore.; Eugene Best, Crescent City, Ore.; William Best, Kansas City, Kan., and Clayton Best, Harveyville; a sister, Mrs. Edna Atwood, Route 9, Topeka; and two brothers, Clyde Holmes, Dover; and Bernard Holmes, Burlingame. The funeral will be at 2pm Saturday at the Dover Federated Church with burial in Dover Cemetery.
