Illinois marriage records state that RODENBOUGH, NEHEMIAH was married to BUZENBARK, EMILY A. on 28 Sep 1859 Warren Co., IL

John Emmet Todd calls her Emily A. Busenbark and gives marriage date of Sept. 28, 1858, Roseville, IL. --- Some family trees on Ancestry.com call her Emily Ann Busenbach and give birth year of 1807. However, it seems unlikely that Emily would have been 21 years older than her husband and bearing children when she was over 50.

Besides giving birth to Elcina and Herbert, Emily may have had a son James who appears in the 1870 census with Nehemiah and Priscilla, probably age 4 at that time. If James was born in 1866, Emily may have died in childbirth. James disappears after 1870; he may have died in childhood.

Warren county Cemetery Inscriptions, Roseville, has the following inscription: Emily A. Rodenbaugh, wife of N. Rodenbaugh, died Jan. 20, 1866, age 26 years 8 months (page 18)
