" Mrs. Emerline Evans Hutcherson, 85, passed away at her home here Saturday morning at 2:00 from an illness of heart disease. She was born and reared in Ballard County, near Blandville, and was married to William Hutcherson of Tennessee, a Civil War veteran, in 1866, who preceded her to the grave a number of years ago. To this union 11 children were born, seven of whom now live. They are Tom and Joe Hutcherson and Mrs. Fanny Harrington of Blandville; Mrs. Kate Carmon and George Hutcherson of near Charleston, Mo.; Mrs. Effie Caldwell of Cairo; Ed Hutcherson of Holloway; 24 grandchildren and 29 great grandchildren. She is also survived by two sisters, Mrs. Harriet Gisher of Holland, Mo., and Mrs. F. Cotner of La Center; one brother, Joe Evans of Blytheville, Ark., besides a number of other relatives and friends whose hearts are sadly grieved of her passing away. She was a member of the Blandville Baptist Church, having always lived a devoted Christian life. The funeral and burial service conducted by Rev. J.M. Burgess, assisted by Rev. Hicks, Sunday morning with interment in the Blandville Cemetery. We cannot forget this mother whose sweet life has passed and gone to be with her Savior in the world beyond. Can we forget the patience and trials she bore, and the kind deeds of comfort she gave to her family of yore? So hard to take away from home, family and friends and say goodbye to her, where she is now in a world that never ends. The loneliness of her presence near will always be remembered in the hearts of her children, who loved her so much."
