Mrs. Elsie Irene Looker, 75, of 1613 Elm St., died Thursday afternoon in Beloit Memorial Hospital. A resident of Beloit for 49 years, she was born May 17, 1899, in LaFarge, Wis., the daughter of Adelbert and Rhoda (Waddell)Taylor-Potter. She married Roscoe C. Looker Oct. 14, 1917 in LaFarge. He died Jan. 2, 1962. She was a member of the Brook Street Church of Christ.
Survivors include two sons, Kenneth and Keith; four grandchildren; three great grandchildren, and one half sister, Mae Rue of Beloit. She was predeceased by one brother Alfred Adelbert Potter; and one sister, Hazel Gracie Potter.
Services will be held at 9:30 a.m. Saturday in the Rosman, Uehling, Kinzer, Cranston Road Chapel, the Rev. Kermit Olsen officiating. Burial will be in East Lawn Cemetery. Friends may call Friday from 7:30 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
