Elmer Dusenberry was a member of the Waukegan G.A.D. post and a charter member of Libertyville Lodge A.F. & M He owned a wagon shop in Libertyville. Elmer came to IL in 1850 with his parents and lived his whole life in Lake County, except for a short time when he lived in the far west. At 21 years he enlisted as a soldier in the Civil War and for nearly 2 years remained in the ranks. References
