    Mrs. Virgil M. Crumrine

Ida Ella Walters was born July 27, 1876, at Albany, Mo., and departed this life at the farm home four miles south of Brewster, Kansas, October 8, 1936.
Her early life was spent in Missouri. When her parents came to Kansas they located in Nemaha county near Baileyville. It was here that she met and married Virgil Mansfield Crumrine at Baileyville, January 17, 1897. Several children were born. Goldie Mae is not living. The remaining six are: Raymond of Greenleff, Nora Weyer of Baileyville, Neva Finley of Hardy. Arkansas; Howard of Chadwick, Mp.; Opal Modean of Clay Center; and Thelma who still was at home.

Mrs. Crumbine was, in infancy, baptized in the Presbyterian church. Later she became a member of the Methodist Episcopal church. In service in this fellowship she expressed her Christian faith and action.

Of her household she leaves her husband and six children, four brothers, and twelve grandchildren.

Funeral services were held last Sunday in Brewster. It seemed good to gather also at the Centralia Congregational church for a service before the interment in the Centralia cemetery Oct. 13. Rev. T.K. Bosworth, the Centralia pastor, spoke and presided at the interment.
