    QUAY 3 "Mrs. Ellen Duffy died at the home of her son, Walter J. Duffy, here Wednesday noon, March 15, 1933 at the age of 73 years. Mrs. Duffy had been ailing for several months.
    Mrs. Duffy had been a resident in this vicinity for the past 50 years, living on a farm about four miles from here the great part of time. She was preceded in death by her husband who died in December 1925.
    Surviving Mrs. Duffy are three sons, Walter, Clarence, and William, and six grandchildren all of this city, and four sisters, Mrs. Thomas Jordan of this city; Mrs. Albert Werrel of Chippewa Falls, Mrs. TD Goodrich of Ladysmith, and Mrs. Dave Taylor of Eau Galle, WI.
    Funeral services were held at St. Joseph's Church Saturday morning with Rev. Father Kalandyk officiating. Interment was in the Greenwood cemetery.
    Those from out of town who attended the funeral were: Mrs. Albert Werrel of Chippewa Falls, Mrs. TD Goodrich of Ladysmith, John O'Sullivan of Washburn, Maude Ford of Chippewa Falls, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Krings of Plum City, WI, Harry Taylor of Eau Galle, and Mrs. Ed Belfaunce of Elmwood, WI.
    The community extends sympathy to the sorrowing relatives."
