  1.   BATTERSBY, Ella Frances, age 79, passed away at the family home, 717 Sixteenth Street, Monday, May 1, (1950). Mrs. Battersby had been a pioneer resident of this community and was the widow of the late Peter S. Battersby. Deceased was a member of the St. James Presbyterian Church and Sehome Chapter No. 17, O. E. S., and leaves to survive one daughter, Mrs. D. G. Mead; one granddaughter, Mrs. Glen Johnson and one great-granddaughter, Miss Claire Johnson, all of Bellingham. The remains rest at the funeral home of Harlow-Hollingsworth where services will be conducted by the Rev. James Martyn Wilson, Wednesday, May 3, at 1 p. m. Cremation.
