MEDICAL CERTIFICATE OF DEATH Date of Death 10 July 1956 Barnes Hospital in St Louis, Missouri. Cause of Death Part 1. Immediate cause: Aspiration Pneumonia due to abscesses of sinus. Part 2. Carcinoma of skin of scalp 2 1/2 years. Funeral Director Haman, Cape Girardeau, Missouri. Buried at Walnut Hill Cemetery at Fort Branch, Indiana. (From family records: "After Ella died in 1956 the family took Rufus to the General Baptist Nursing Home in Campbell, Missouri to live. Then in 1960 he went to live with his brother Fred Austin near Lynnville, Indiana."
