2012 - Obituary, Niagara Gazette: LOCKPORT - Elizabeth Geschwender (Zewin), age 75, of Niagara Falls, went home to the loving arms of her Savior on June 12, 2012, at the Niagara Hospice House. Born in Niagara Falls, NY on August 24, 1936 to the late Mitchell and Mamie (George) Zewin. She attended local schools and was a member of Niagara Alliance Church for over 25 years. She is survived by her children, James (Denise) Geschwender, Nicholas (Debra) Geschwender and Joseph (Rebecca) Geschwender; a sister, Marie (Gino) Cieri; and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband of 54 years, James Geschwender in April of 2010; twin daughters, Debra Ann and Ann Debra Geschwender; two brothers, Joseph and Albert Zewin; and three sisters, Marlene Zewin, Margaret Cieri and Victoria Houraney. Friends may call at the DUBOIS FUNERAL HOME, 2436 Niagara Road, (Bergholz), in Wheatfield, on Thursday from 6-8 PM, with services following visitation at 8:00 PM. A private interment will take place in Acacia Park Cemetery on Friday. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Niagara Hospice House.
