All Hallows parish records the baptism of Robert Garman a negro man living with the widow Belt.

Depositions of the children of Elizabeth (TYDINGS) BELT (daughter of Richard TYDINGS) where they gave their ages show that person Joseph BELT was born ca. 1680, and her son Benjamin BELT was born 1682. (Index to Chancery Depositions 1668-1779 in MD Hist. Mag., Vol 23).

Her son John was married in Feb. 1701/2, and is considered to be the eldest (b. ca 1678).

Assuming that Elizabeth was a minimum age 16 when her first child was born, means at the latest she was born ca 1662.

Richard's daughter Charity was listed as elder than Elizabeth in Richard TYDINGS will, which would make Charity's birth no later than ca 1660. That would make their mother Charity (wife of Richard TYDINGS) born at the latest about 1644, probably earlier.
