Samuel Coolidge m. Dorchester, Elizabeth, d/o Thomas Tileson [sic, see note]. She m. (2) 6 May 1802 his brother Moses Coolidge and d. 24 Aug 1813.

  2. Elizabeth's husband was born 1751, so we would expect her birth to be similar or later. Bond says she is the daughter of Thomas Tileson, but does not cover that family, nor give a birth date. Thomas Tilestone d. 1745 aged 70, too old to be the father, and his son Thomas d. 1720 aged 20. So it is not apparent that there even was a Thomas Tilestone for Elizabeth to be the daughter of. One suspects this is entirely an assumption by Bond (and an erroneous one) based on Samuel and her naming a child Thomas Tilestone Coolidge. The only birth record that looks appropriate is that of Elizabeth, d/o Nathaniel and Elizabeth Tilestone, b. Dorchester, 11 Aug 1756.
