    Elizabeth Stockton married Thomas Lockhart. Elizabeth was a daughter of Richard and Agnes (maybe nee Anthony) Stockton and a granddaughter of Davis Stockton of Albemarle County, Virginia.

    Elizabeth's date of birth is only approximate. It is thought that Thomas Lockhart was about 30 years older than Elizabeth. Thomas Lockhart died in Henry County, Virginia, in 1791.

    It appears that Elizabeth and her son William signed a contract in either 1816 or 1817 in Patrick County, Virginia.

    Widow Elizabeth (nee Stockton) Lockhart might have died in Washington County, Indiana, after 1820.
