    The daughter of John Staffour Steffey and Anna Maria Schirmer Steffey, she married Christopher Stophell Phillippi on March 6, 1787 in Montgomery Co. Virginia.

    Her husband owned much land on the branch of Cripple Creek where the family farmed.
